I was born on January 4th 1972 in Luxembourg and started playing drums at the age of 11 or 12, if I remember well. Besides school and university studies (master in social work and sociology at the ULB), I studied drums and percussion at the Conservatory of Luxemburg and at the Future Music School(Germany). I was fortunate to study drums with greats like Rainer Kind, Claus Hessler, Bruno Castellucci and more recently with Dom Famularo in New York.
During postgraduate studies, I was involved in a research work on music therapy.
At the age of 20 I was offered a job as a drumteacher at music school CAVEM in Luxemburg. I still teach and love teaching.
Research on high quality education led into publishing two drum methods about Ternary Drumset Playing. I have two more scripts in the drawer, which I hope to be able to publish sooner or later.
Concerning live performances and recordings, here is a small extract of the bands I was collaborating with: Sibel, Not Without, Arker, X-Rey, Fanfarrah, X-Rey, Randi Washmatic, Sazz'n'Jazz Quartet.
Last but not least, I am fortunate to endorse Agner Sticks (signature stick), Mapex Drums and Sabian Cymbals.
